The JSIA administration consists of a President, 2 Vice Presidents, 28 Directors (17 of whom are managing Directors), and 2 Auditors. The general and technical/environmental Secretariats perform office work, under the supervision of the senior Director.
The General Assembly, Board of Directors, and Committee of Managing Directors are responsible for the operation of JSIA. They are assisted by the General Committee and four Permanent Committees (general affairs, publicity, technology/safety, environment) which contain various subcommittees.
